VueScan uses a plugin library that's installed with the HP drivers to talk to this scanner, and doesn't work with this scanner without this plugin library. Note that HP drivers for Windows Vista or later will usually work on Windows 10. HP sold this scanner in some countries as the ScanJet 4200.

On the HP support web page for this scanner, there are no Mac drivers listed. Has anyone found a way to use this scanner under OS X? Maybe another HP scanner driver?

I know that VistaScan might support this scanner, but it's available only under classic. I see that the Silverfast applications support many different makes of scanner. But I couldn't find any reference to the 2200c in the web site. Suggestions for getting this scanner under OS X? I'd settle for a TWAIN plug-in for photoshop, if I can't find an dedicated scan application.
